Front-end kit: QAR 1,200 for a sedan or coupe, QAR 1,400 for an SUV and QAR 1,600 for a large SUV or pickup. Full front: QAR 2,200, QAR 2,600 and QAR 3,000. Full body: QAR 5,500, QAR 6,500 and QAR 7,500. ULTIMATE film (15-year warranty) and MATTE film cost 25% more — a full-body sedan in ULTIMATE is QAR 6,900. PRISM colour film is priced per car. Every price includes the film, fitting at a VTEK-authorised centre in Doha, warranty registration and a 12-month ABK workmanship cover.
What Drives the Price of PPF
Four things set the price of a PPF job. Coverage matters most: a front-end kit protects the bumper and the leading edges, a full front adds the whole bonnet and fenders, and a full body wraps every painted panel. Vehicle size comes next — a Land Cruiser or Patrol simply needs more film and more hours than a Camry. Then the film grade: thicker, glossier films with longer warranties cost more per metre. Finally the car's condition: old film or a wrap has to be removed first, and paint with heavy swirls or etching should be corrected before film goes on, because PPF seals in whatever is underneath it.
Front-End, Full Front or Full Body?
A front-end kit (from QAR 1,200) is the entry point: it takes the first hit from stones on the bumper, mirrors and headlights. A full front (from QAR 2,200) suits highway commuters because it covers the whole bonnet with no visible film line. A full body (from QAR 5,500) adds the doors, sides, roof and rear against sand abrasion, parking scuffs and wash swirls — the choice for a new or high-value car you plan to keep. If you only want certain panels, they can be priced individually from QAR 500.
How to Compare PPF Quotes in Doha
Two quotes are only comparable when they describe the same job. Ask every installer five things: which brand and which film line they will use (and to see the roll label); whether they are authorised by that brand, since film warranties usually depend on it; whether the warranty is registered to your car; how long they guarantee their own workmanship and what that covers; and exactly which panels and edges are included. A price that does not name the film, or a warranty that exists only verbally, is a warning sign — cheap unbranded film is what yellows, cracks and lifts in Qatar's summer.
